deep breath

In the midst of monotonous days, in the middle of the night, in this complicated world
New thrills are soon worn down and turned into rubble
Everything will either go well or badly
I know that, but I just don't know what I want to do

I'm tired of competition, still time moves on
The days keep going
Every once in a while I'll try spreading my hands
And if I take a deep breath and open my eyes

I'll jump out of the solar system, loosen up a little
Feel the new wind with my body
Forced out of the path of fate, I'll be a little more free
And become a nameless star in a nameless constellation

On the other side of my memories, in the middle, in a fragile dream
Awakened from a new sleep, I find it's soon dawn
The excitement and calm I remember
Are surely too distant for my life now

I try to rebel against familiar things, still time shrinks down
The days are flat
Every once in a while I'll try spreading my hands
And taking a deep breath and opening my eyes

I'll jump out of the solar system, stand a little prouder
The new wind will blow from there
Forced out of the path of fate, I'll feel a small breath
And become a nameless star in a nameless constellation
Somewhere in a corner of the universe that's almost disappeared
I take a deep breath

There's darkness in my heart
Grass scatters in the shadows
The moon comes out in the night sky
The buildings are closing in

A long stretch of cloudy sky
My short morning preparations
Surrounded by a deeper green than usual
A flower bloomed
